Architectural Services
Imogen Jack can provide a full architectural service for our clients. We have produced and carried out many successful planning applications ranging from domestic house extensions to large scale commercial and landowner projects.
The Process:
1. Initial consultation
Once you have contacted us we will arrange a free, no obligation consultation where we will consider your needs and requirements, acquaint ourselves with the site and discuss the viability of the project. The consultation also provides a chance for you to meet us and decide whether we are suitable for your desired project!
At this point we will also be able to provide our clients with a proposal of the required processes, as well as discussing an estimated timescale and cost. The consultation will then be followed up with a free written summary and no obligation quotation.
2. Drawings + approval
If you decide to utilise our services our architects will then begin design work and produce initial drawings for your inspection and authorisation. All drawings are produced using the most up to date CAD software and display the appropriate scaled plans, dimensions and elevations.
The drawings will eventually be finalised by communicating with local planning divisions and our in-house designers and tradesmen along with progress updates and reviews with you.

We also handle all planning requirements as part of this process.
3. Building control regulations
Once the agreed planning scheme drawings are approved, a building regulation application must be submitted to building control for authorisation.
At Imogen Jack we follow the strictest quality and safety conditions and apply for ‘full plans approval’, allowing our clients peace of mind that the project will be completed to the highest standards possible. The application involves adding all relevant internal, external and substructure construction details to the plans. We confer within our team to make sure every necessary detail is included ensuring swift approval.
4. Construction
After building regulation approval is received, construction can commence immediately and efficiently due to our team being involved in the project from the initial plans onwards.
The local authority building control service will inspect and survey the work at certain stages throughout the project.
